This joint serves up some of the BEST, FINGER LICKIN', INNOVATIVE, TAAASTY CAJUN FOOD WITH A BIT OF LATIN FLAIR. I got there on a hot tip. They're really good at this. 3PM and bizzy, with knowledgeable, friendly, fast waitstaff like Chelsea with the big smile. Four people and four completely different dishes - all GREAT. The prices are almost worth the drive from Houston! For another day, it looks like the place really swings at night too. Check it out for yourself.....

I tried the gumbo, chargrilled Parmesan oysters and fish tacos with a Bloody Mary. All three were great. The roux tasted a little burnt but overall ok. Oysters were great but wished the cheese was melted on top. I'll return while traveling through.

Great experience! Huge building! Great service! Great Atmosphere! There was a mistake on our order but it wasn't that big of a deal! Actually felt kinda bad for the waiter that it had to come out of his check since he delivered the wrong plate to our table. I went ahead and left a tip big enough for him to cover the mistake. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Used to drive the stretch of I-10 between Houston and Lafayette regularly and was often stymied looking for a decent lunch place. Been a bit since I made the trek but decided to meet my bestie halfway for a drink and a bite to eat and Orange is smack midpoint. Yelp helped me identify this place and winner, winner! Wind through residential area and there she is all eclectic looking next to a country club. The food represent a fusion of Cajun and Mexican with something for everyone. The dining room is expansive and decorated with fun in mind. There's a full bar too so everyone leaves happy. We feasted on gator bites and boudin balls though my Louisiana bestie was skeptical, this being Texas and all. She found both appetizers to be up to her standards. She had the catfish, I had the roast beef hoagie and both were fine examples. Fries are crispy and the drinks good. Our server, Sarah, was on top of her game. She recognized this to be a reunion of sorts and gave plenty of time to visit. She had a great sense of humor and pride in her work. We will definitely come by again.
